Rules And Regulations:

Thank you for your interest in participating in The Market at The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos. Our market will be every Monday (with a couple exceptions for holidays) from 4pm-8pm starting October 3rd through November 28th at The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos, 6855 4th St. NW, Los Ranchos, NM 87107.

The Market at The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos strives to highlight the talent, artistry, and culture of food and art in New Mexico by offering vendors a place to showcase their work in a safe, fun, and collaborative environment. We believe in the beauty that the Village of Los Ranchos has to offer and it is our mission to bring community, life, and creativity back into Fourth St. by creating a market for residents in and out of the village to enjoy. Our values include respect, creativity, growth, and celebration. We hope to bring this to our vendors and customers with this market.

Please read the rules and regulations carefully.

Vendors agree to conform to and abide by all laws of the County of Bernalillo, Village of Los Ranchos, and State of New Mexico as well as the rules and regulations of The Market at The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos.

We offer 15 covered 8’x10’ spaces for rent for $15 and 10 uncovered 10’x10’ spaces for rent for $20. Covered spaces provide shade while uncovered spaces will not have shade. You are permitted to bring your own tents for uncovered spaces if you choose. A Waiting and/or cancellation list will be created, after spaces have been filled, for vendors wanting to participate. If you are interested in participating in more than three scheduled dates, please email The Market manager, Charlie Kaiser, at themarket@shoplosranchos.com to learn more about possible discounted rates.

Once your application has been received, we will reply with a confirmation if you have been selected to participate and an invoice for your chosen space and selected date(s). You can pay with Venmo, Zelle, or cash, but must pay 5 days prior to the date of the first scheduled market. Cash can be sent to or dropped off at The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos, 6855 4th St. NW, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, NM 87107; There is a dropbox outside unit B1; please include your name, business name, phone number, and date(s) you are paying for. If we do not receive your payment 5 days prior to your scheduled date to participate, you will be moved to the waitlist. All payments are non-refundable, but your payment can be credited to another scheduled market date if The Market is canceled or you provide enough notice that you will not be there (5 days prior to the scheduled date is appropriate notice).

If you are selected to participate, we will send you a confirmation and further information about The Market such as loading and unloading and vendor parking details. Please consider sharing the dates, time, location, and that you will be participating in The Market on your social media. Doing this will benefit ALL the vendors!

We expect our participating vendors to behave respectfully towards customers, other vendors, and The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos. Consuming controlled substances of any kind is not permitted by vendors. There is a smoking area available on the other side of the shops; this is the only allowed area for smoking tobacco. There will be live music performers, so no music at vendor areas is permitted while musicians are performing.

Dogs on leashes are allowed so long as they are quiet and non-disruptive to customers, other dogs, other vendors, and the space.

If you receive multiple complaints or reports, no-show without notice, leave early without notice, you may be asked not to return for the remaining dates of The Market.

In order to show respect for other vendors and to make The Market an enjoyable experience for customers, we ask that you use only your provided space to set up products and not encroach on neighboring vendors’ spaces. It is our expectation that you will set up and take down all your materials and clean up any trash in your space.

Insurance:

Commercial Liability Insurance is not required at this time.

The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos is not liable for damages, loss, or injury in the vendor’s booth space or due to products, and is held harmless in the case of a claim.

Attendance:

If you know you will miss a market date, you must notify The Market manager by email, themarket@shoplosranchos.com 5 days before the scheduled market. This will not affect you negatively. Your fee can be credited for another scheduled date.

We also understand that emergencies do happen! If you have an issue the day of the market and cannot attend, please let us know an hour before check-in time to notify us that you will not be there. Please TEXT do NOT call (505) 990-9597 your name, business name, that you cannot attend, and if you would like to commit to another scheduled date or not. Depending on the situation, this will not affect you negatively and you can be credited for another scheduled date so long as you do not take advantage of this policy.

Supplies:

Prices on products should be clearly marked.

Tent/canopy (only for uncovered spaces, optional) - all tents/canopies and umbrellas must be made of fire-resistant material as well as weighted or staked down. The Village Shops @ Los Ranchos will not provide tents, tables or chairs.

Check-In:

The Market will take place weekly from October 3rd-November 28th on Mondays from 4PM-7:30PM

Vendors may check in at 3:30pm. When you check in, you will receive your space number and a copy of The Market guidelines. Any vendor who has not checked in by 4:15pm is considered to be a no-show without notice. Your fee will not be credited for another day nor can it be re-funded. This will affect a vendor negatively. If a vendor has 3 no-notice, no-shows, they may be asked not to return to The Market for that season.

Parking:

After unloading, vendor vehicles can park in open spaces along 4th St. or in the Los Ranchos Parking lot (6780 4th St. NW Los Ranchos, NM 87107) south of The Village Shops. Vendors CANNOT park in the parking lot of The Village Shops, as those spaces will be reserved for customers.

Commerce:

Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting all sales and taxes to the correct city and state agencies.

Market Cancellation:

In the rare event of dangerous weather, road closures, or other unforeseen complications, The Market may be canceled. The cancellation will be posted on our Instagram and Facebook pages the morning of the cancellation and we will notify you additionally through an email list. This will not affect you negatively and your vendor fee will be credited to the next scheduled market.

Vendors may be asked to leave the market for any reason, including violation for any of these rules and regulations.
